Founded in 2024, The Mercantile Antiques & Uniques was built from the ground up as a women-owned family business with a simple but meaningful vision: to create a space where local small businesses could grow, be seen, and share what they love with the community. What started as a dream quickly became a vibrant, welcoming market filled with character, creativity, and the kind of one-of-a-kind shopping experience that only comes from passionate vendors and carefully curated finds.
Today, The Mercantile is home to 250+ local vendors offering a wide mix of antiques, vintage décor, retro finds, collectibles, furniture, boutique goods, handmade items, and more. Every booth reflects the personality, style, and story of the small business behind it, making our store more than just a place to shop—it’s a place to discover, connect, and support real people doing what they love.

We are incredibly proud of how far this dream has come in such a short time. The Mercantile was recognized as Best Antique Store in Orlando Weekly’s Best of 2025 Readers’ Choice awards, and we’ve continued working every day to build something our vendors, customers, and local community can be proud of.
